Honey and Apitherapy

In collaboration with Dr. Lilian Ceballos - Pharmacologist - independent researcher - teacher at the Lyon school of medicinal plants.

Apitherapy is a practice of using hive products for therapeutic purposes. However, honey, known to everyone, has many properties less known to the general public.

What is honey?

Honey is a food produced by bees from plant secretions that foraging bees regurgitate into the hive. Ventilating bees dehydrate the nectar, which will lose a large part of its water: at this stage, the bees store it in the cells.
